From 3pm on Sunday the 7th December Suite A-Z 4 piece band will be playing at Helm. Really fabulous band currently playing at places like Piano Room and Iceburgs and now coming to Darling Harbours newest water front bar.
It would be ashame to miss them sing up a storm.
Helm Bar is all geared up to what is going to be a faulous summer on the water of Cockle Bay. We have loads to offer like $10 cocktails on Tuesday’s, DJ’s and Live Bands from Thursday to Sunday, loads of wine and beer promos and give aways just to name a few.

Every Sunday afternoon at Helm Bar we will be show casing live entertainment. It is a must to finish up the weekend on a high.
This Sunday from 4pm USUAL SUSPECTS will be playing some tunes. They are a 3 piece band playing a great mix of songs with a fabulous vocalist. You wont be disapointed!
Sip some cocktails, share a morrocan mezze plate and watch the sunset over Cockle Bay whilst listening to some great music!

It has been 3 months since we opened and Helm is loving being opened. Thanks to all those regulars from before who have all crept back in and welcome to all our new customers. We hope you like what we have done down here in Cockle bay and look forward to a fantastic summer.
Functions are something we focus on quiet heavily and the response since we opened has been absolutley amazing. If you are wanting to book a christmas function I advise you to get in quick as we are nearly all full up for evenings in December.
This week our new head chef started his own fab menu. There are so many things to try I know I cant wait to eat my way through the menu. Heads up I have had the fish cakes, lamb burger and african chicken salad soooooooooooooooo good. I know there are a few people ready to get stuck into a carafe of sangria and the yummy aranchini balls and crumbed mushrooms too after a hard days work. Check out our new menu on our website. So come down and say hello. We have so much happening at Helm these days, new food, wine nights, DJ’s, promotions there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Helm Bar is supporting Good Food Month by offering a Cocktail and Canape for $20. This includes a Summer Breeze Cocktail of Belvedere Vodka and summer fruits accompanied by Tempura Prawns w a red wine and shallot vinaigrette. Available everyday in October.
Helm has a new summer menu with lots of great new dishes. This has been designed by our new head Chef Jason Young. The menu is now available on our website.
