Helm Bar & Bistro and the Cockle Bay Yacht Club are right by the water, conveniently located in Cockle Bay and just a few steps away from Darling Harbour, Sydney’s new International Conference Centre and Barangaroo.
Train or Ferry
Multiple public transportation options are available to reach Helm Bar & Bistro and the Cockle Bay Yacht Club. Town Hall Train Station is a 7-minute walk from our door and so is Barangaroo’s new ferry wharf. Pyrmont, Sydney’s CBD and The Rocks are all within walking distance as well.
Uber or Taxi
If you are coming by taxi or Uber, be sure to use our address 7 Wheat Road, Darling Harbour NSW. Your taxi or uber will drop you off right behind the venue.
Light Rail
Take the L1 light rail from central or from Dulwich Hill through the inner west, to Pyrmont Bay stop behind the Australian National Maritime Museum. Walk a short distance across the Pyrmont Bridge and down the escalator and you’ll see us situated next to the Sydney Aquarium – you can’t miss us!
Nearest Parking
If you are the designated driver, the nearest public parking is Wilson Parking at Darling Park on Sussex Street. There are also multiple parking stations at King Street Wharf and Sussex Street. Booking ahead usually offers discounted rates.
